Halloween happenings in North Wales

Pili Palas -

This Halloween at Pili Palas for the week commencing 25th October, the doors will open at 10am for our Scary Spider hunt, Halloween Pumpkin making sessions, apple bobbing as well as all the usual Pili Palas fun.

Every child who visits in Halloween fancy dress will pay half price and on top of that, all entrance tickets will be valid for as many visits as they like during the Halloween half term break!

The chef will also be weaving his spells over his special Witches' Brew menu in the cafe - for Halloween week only!

Plus, at 4 pm - as it starts to get dark - the lanterns will be lit and the Halloween hosts will lead you on the haunted lantern parade to the Creepy Cavern - a fun-filled, animal handling, scary fest that is not to be missed!!! Be there if you dare!!!! (Suitable for all ages - we promise!)

Corris Crafts -

The Spellbound Herbals workshop has devised Halloween recipes to make your hair and body spooktacular for Halloween. Mix your own ghoulish recipes in the Cauldron's Corner craft area. Recipes include Frog Slime Hair Gel, Dracula Blood Hair and Body Gel, Ghoulish Snot Gel and Ghostly Hair and Body Dusting Powder. Using natural ingredients, many of which are home grown by the owner.

Plus, on Saturday 16th October, as a part of the Taste Dolgellau Festival a Halloween Rarebit will be launched.

Renowned for its tasty selection of Welsh Rarebits, the Craft Centre Cafe has created a new Rarebit with a Halloween theme especially for the Festival. The Halloween Rarebit, which will be served with locally grown braised Welsh leeks, will be available until Halloween, 31st October.

Rhyl Sun Centre -

The Rhyl SunCentre is celebrating Halloween along with end of season on 31 October 2010.

As per usual, staff take the opportunity of dress-up in true Halloween style and create a truly spooky day out.

So come and join in with the ghoulish goings on, devilish disco, games & prizes. Scare yourself silly and dare to ride the Black Thunder ride (will you come out the other end?). Open from 10.30am to 5.00pm.
